SIAT is a lot of things. To some, it's a group of wonderful creatives who can make incredible works of art. To others, it's a bunch of art kid weirdos. But to you and I, it's home.
My name is Den Kinanti, and I'm like all of you. Our first year of uni is all but certain, and I get it. Everyone knows what it's like to have their voices unheard. Complaints go ignored, suggestions unnoticed. It sucks.
As your future IAT One representative, I'm not letting that slide. I'm here to tell you that us first years do have a say. Just because there's only one IAT rep, doesn't mean there's only one voice.
So, why should you vote for me? Good question. I have a ton of experience with managing and directing events and activities. In high school, I was the co-head of my school play's stage crew, the lead designer in the poetry club AND memorized at least 5 minecraft parody songs.
Not only can we shape our SIAT year the way we like it, but we're also responsible for the next generation. We had a fantastic FROSH, and I know that we can give the next generation of SIAT first years an experience that's just as good.
So what do you say? Your voice is my voice- let's make this year the best it can be.

Realistically? I want to say I could take on a goat… but probably not. Actually I might be able to take on a deer, or a sheep, I don't know which one's bigger. Deers right? No but hear me out, you gotta get them when they least expect it. When they're grazing. They're gonna be too focused on the grass, or the shrubs, or whatever. Then you gotta sneak up on them and BAM !! Easy !

Genuine answer: I love putting effort in the way I present myself because I feel better when I look better !! Also as an art kid I like to dress myself with the same mentality on how I would design characters if that makes sense? I mostly started getting into fashion because of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anyways… 💀
Here’s some general tips and tricks if you want to drip and not drown:
Colours: Put your IAT100 course theory to the test! Wear complementary, split-complementary or analogous colours to your look. Having a visible colour palette can make your outfits just a bit more interesting. An easy way to do this is to try match a colour on your outfit (e.g. a graphic on a shirt) to another piece of clothing you’re wearing.
Accessorize: Don’t be afraid to use rings, necklaces, or whatever to add more charm to your look.They don’t even have to be real, they just have to look good. Go crazy go stupid 🔥
Experiment: Wear clothes outside your comfort zone and don’t be afraid to experiment with clothes from the opposite gender. Clothes don’t even have gender. Life doesn’t have a dresscode. Wear what you want who cares!
Thrift: It’s usually cheaper than finding stuff from malls and big name brands. Also you’re more likely to find unique pieces that no one else! Gatekeeping and girlbossing has never been easier :3

I don’t know… they probably think we’re related or something… To be fair I do wear a lot of black and white and I do have black hair. Maybe they’re telepathically linked to me for whatever reason. Just because I pick up shiny things off the ground, scavenge through newspapers for bookmarks, or think that people waste perfectly good food by throwing it away does NOT explain why raccoons follow me around all the time. I don’t get it?
